DAY 1

CRACOW / KAZIMIERZ / WIELICZKA


9:00 a.m.: landing in Cracow.
Breakfast at the hotel, departure to Kazimierz – historical Jewish district of Cracow. Visiting the synagogues: Remuh, Tempel, and the Old Synagogue. Visiting the “Podgórze” district which used to be a Jewish ghetto from 1941 to 1943. Visiting the famous pharmacy “Under the Eagle” which now houses a museum about the tragic story of the Cracow ghetto.
Stroll around the incredibly beautiful Main Market Square and lunch.
Going 135 meters down to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, a place unlike any other in Europe. You can get to know its fascinating history thanks to the professional guides during a two- to three-hour long tour.
Dinner and an impressive, traditional Polish folklore show.

7:00 p.m.: return to the hotel.


DAY 2

AUSCHWITZ / BIRKENAU


8:00 a.m.: breakfast at the hotel.
Departure to the complex of German concentration camps, Auschwitz-Birkenau. Visiting the Oświęcim concentration camp with a guide. Watching a documentary movie. A ceremony in Brzezinka commemorating the victims of the Holocaust.

5:00 p.m.: return to the hotel for a late dinner. Free time to explore the Cracow Main Market Square.


DAY 3

ZBYLITKOWSKA GÓRA / TARNÓW / ŁAŃCUT / MARKOWA / LEŻAJSK


7:30 a.m.: breakfast at the hotel.
Departure to Zbylitkowska Góra. The Buczyna forest – contemplation at the place where almost 6,000 victims of extermination were executed and buried in 1942.
Tarnów – visiting the Jewish cemetery, walk along the old Jewish district, visiting the only preserved element of the Old Synagogue from 1630 – the brick bima.
Łańcut – visiting the castle, and the synagogue from 1761.

3:00 p.m.: departure to Markowa village where you can find the Ulm family memorial. The family was executed by the Nazis in 1944, together with the Jews they were hiding. Visit to the Leżajsk cemetery with the grave of Zaddik Elimelech Weinsblum.

5:30 p.m.- departure to Rzeszów for a late dinner and a night’s rest.


DAY 4

PRZEMYŚL / JAROSŁAW / LESKO / SANOK / BOBOWA


8:30 a.m.: breakfast at the hotel, and departure to Przemyśl.
Jarosław – visiting the beautifully preserved synagogue from 1811.
Arrival in Przemyśl. Brief walk around the city, visiting the Jewish cemetery.
Visiting the synagogue from the first half of the 16th century in Lesko.
Sanok. Dinner break. Visiting the Jewish cemetery with an obelisk commemorating the execution of the Jews.
Moving westwards to Bobowa. Visiting the well-preserved synagogue from 1756.

5:30 p.m.: return to Cracow for a late dinner.


DAY 5

CRACOW


8:30 a.m.: breakfast at the hotel.

5:30 a.m.: departure from the airport in Cracow.

LUBLIN / MAJDANEK / WARSZAWA


8:30 a.m. - breakfast at the hotel
Sightseeing of Lublin – visiting the Jewish cemetery and Chachamei Lublin Yeshiva which used to be an important center for Torah study.
Visiting the concentration camp in Majadanek with a guide, taking part in a ceremony commemorating the victims of the Holocaust.
Afternoon departure to Warsaw, stroll around the Old Town.
Check-in at the hotel, late dinner.


DAY 5

WARSAW / TREBLINKA / TYKOCIN


8:00 a.m.: breakfast at the hotel.
Sightseeing of Warsaw – visiting the Jewish cemetery, a famous necropolis on Okopowa Street.
Visiting the concentration camp in Treblinka. Commemoration ceremony, a moment of meditation.
Tykocin – visiting the Great Synagogue from 1642.
Return to Warsaw for a late dinner.


DAY 6

WARSAW


8:30 a.m. – breakfast at the hotel, departure from the Chopin Airport in Warsaw.
